1. This product is used in oil-based mud to form a highly effective struck-pipe spotting fluid.
2. It gives spotting fluids the ability to penetrate and crack the water-based-mud filter cake with an extremely high-fluid-loss and solid-free
filtrate. These characteristics assist freeing differentially stuck pipe by penetrating between the wall and filter cake.
